Play Rung online with friends

Play Rung — Court Piece, Coat Piece, however you call it — with your friends anywhere in the world. Free, in your browser or on Android, with one-tap Google sign-in. Just create a room, share the invite link or room code, and deal in.

How it works — three steps

1. Create a room. Go to play.rung.gg, sign in with Google in one tap, and click Create Room. You'll get an invite link and room code instantly.
2. Share the link. Send it to your friends on WhatsApp, iMessage, Discord, anywhere. They tap the link (or enter the room code) and they're at your table.
3. Deal in. Once four seats are filled (humans, bots, or any mix), the host hits Start and the first hand is dealt.

Total time from idea to cards-on-the-table: under 60 seconds.

Built-in voice chat

Rung is half cards, half conversation. The banter — calling your partner out for a bad play, the chaos when someone tries a Goon Court — is the whole point. So voice chat is built right into the game. Once you're in a room, enable your microphone and you can talk to everyone at the table in real time. No Discord, no Zoom, no external app. Mute and unmute per player when you need to.

One-tap sign-in, no download needed

A lot of online card games make you fill in sign-up forms, download an app, and sit through a long onboarding. Rung doesn't. Sign in with Google in one tap and the whole experience runs in your browser — or grab the Android app on Google Play if you prefer (iPhone app coming soon). Your account keeps your name and rank, so if you close the tab and come back tomorrow, you're straight back in. Rung is for the 11pm "you up?" message, not the 30-minute onboarding.

Works on phones, tablets, and laptops

The game is fully responsive. On a phone you get a vertical layout designed for thumbs. On a tablet or laptop, the table expands into the classic four-seat layout. Switch devices mid-match if you need to — your seat is tied to your Google sign-in.

Tested across iOS Safari, Android Chrome, desktop Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.

Missing a player? Fill the seat with a bot

Got three of you and the fourth dropped out? Any empty seat can be filled with a smart AI bot that plays real Rung strategy — including following suit, signalling through discards, and saving high trumps for late tricks. The bots aren't perfect, but they play like a competent human, not a random-card generator. Read more about playing against bots →

Game settings the host can adjust

• Turn speed — Fast, Normal, or Slow. Pick the pace your group wants.
• Senior Ace — Off, Demote, or Block. Decides what happens to an "Ace on Ace" lead (a first Ace always wins).
• Double Sar — which trick the pot unlocks from (5th by default); after that, two tricks in a row claims it.
• Void Twelfth — the 12th trick earns no sar; it joins the pot and the 13th trick takes it all.
• Match length — first to 50, 75, 100, or 120 points wins.

Settings are locked in before the first deal so the whole table plays the same game.

Ranked seasons

Matches with friends can count towards your rank. Each month is a new season: climb from Dehla (10) through Ghulam, Begum, and Badshah to Ikka (Ace), and chase the Top 10. A win is +15 RP, a loss −10, and leaving early costs another −10. A match only counts when each team has at least one real player.
